Nicola and Mark are a quirky couple who love camping but still wanted to enjoy and surround themselves with beautiful, homely comforts.
They wanted a clean, scandi feel interior with hardwood features popping against the crisp white walls. With comfort as top priority, they chose to have a permanent bed across the van with loads of storage underneath.
The living area has a cozy corner sofa with hidden toilet, a beautiful Welsh dresser inlaid with heritage tiles, they had collected on overseas trips.
The pressed metal splash-back, copper sink, and Indonesian carved cabinet doors, really adds personality to they perfect little Home on Wheels.
FIAT DUCATO – LWB, HIGH ROOF
We found Michael and Emma online after a difficult search trying to find someone ‘skilled and chilled’ enough to create the very different vision we had for our camper. We’d looked at the work they had already done and knew instantly that they would be able to create the type of quirky, beautiful and luxurious van that we wanted.
We talked through some ideas and then the conversion started… it wasn’t easy, there were a lot of difficult requests including a sofa with a built-in flushing toilet, a bed more comfy than our own bed at home, wood panelling on the walls and ceiling, and even a ‘Welsh Dresser’ complete with heritage tiles! But each challenge was navigated with bags of patience, creativity and enthusiasm.
We were informed of progress with photos, letting us know of any necessary changes or adaptations as we went through. Our finished home on wheels is way beyond anything we thought was achievable and the guys did an outstanding job.
Handing over our van and our trust to Michael and Emma was the best thing we ever did and we’d completely encourage anyone else to take the plunge and do the same!
